According to a new PPP poll, Obama's approval in Minnesota has plummeted from 60% to 54% due largely to increasing polarization among Republicans. This, obviously, means that Obama is completely DOOMED and this is likely because people are upset about the DEFICIT and, let's say, BLAGOJEVICH. Does that sound right? Okay! Let's continue.
Things are so bad for Obama in Minnesota that he is only beating state governor and GOP rising star Tim Pawlenty by eleven points in a hypothetical match-up. Given that this is a swing state in which Pawlenty has nearly universal name recognition, this likely means that Obama is only beating Pawlenty by 15 points in crucial states like New Hampshire and Colorado.
Even worse, Obama is getting clobbered with a mere 21 point lead over populist superstar Sarah Palin. We can only assume Obama's weakness here reflects Palin's advantages on such pressing issues as the DEFICIT and, I don't know, maybe CAPITAL GAINS TAXES? As Bill Kristol would tell us, this just means Palin scares Democrats and also.
Obama, who is a well known socialist Marxist who reads Max Horkheimer books whenever he's not dreaming of new taxes, receives only 70% support from self-identified moderates. Moderates and independents, who recently expressed their disapproval through a series of completely spontaneous tea parties, are no doubt reeling from Obama'☭ extremist plans to weaken America's beloved health insurance industry.
Also, Obama, a corrupt corporate DINO who merely lied about being liberal to fool Bill Maher, continues to hemorrhage support from the left. He now draws only 92% support from Minnesota's liberals, receiving bad marks from the 6% of liberals who inexplicably express approval for Governor Sarah Palin.
I hate to be a Cassandra, folks, but this is clearly the End of Obama™. The numbers don't lie. Americans are ready for a return to the good ole' days of GOP rule, which they now fondly remember through the nostalgic haze that an entire six months has laid upon their squishy, impressionable minds. And can you blame them? After all, Michael Jacksons didn't die when the Republicans were in charge. Think about it.
Now that you acknowledge the peril that we face, the question on your mind is probably this: "Is there a way to get out of this mess that Obama has created?"
I'm not so sure, but maybe it's time Democrats took another look at Mike Gravel.
